27 Field Trip to the LSU Museum of Natural Science in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Join John Borom for a tour of the Ornithology Section of the museum, conducted by Curator of Birds, Dr. James Van Remsen.  A highlight will be a look at the Ivory-billed Woodpecker study skins.  A chartered bus will leave 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center at 6:00 a.m.  Following the tour, the group will have lunch at Mike Anderson’s restaurant near the LSU campus.  After lunch, the group will visit local birding spots, returning to Mobile at 7:00 p.m.  There will be a fee and space is limited to 25.  For reservations, contact John Borom at (251) 990-0423.
