Monarch Butterfly Chrysalis on Aster
This beautiful green chrysalis of the Monarch butterfly was photographed near the Weeks Bay Interpretive Center in October, during the annual Monarch migration.  Note the golden line near the top of the chrysalis.  The flower is the New England Aster.
